Dial task (call)

Introduction

Dialing a phone/mobile number allows you to attract the attention of a person to events in the system. Because dialing does not contain additional information (voice message is not supported), it is recommended to supplement it with SMS or e-mail.

How to create a Dial task element

Warning

Remember that "Dial task" does not work when LTE mode is enabled if the default behavior for the LTE connection is selected.

To create a dialing task you have to specify the following parameters:

Name

The name of the element in the system

Phone number

Recipient's phone number, only one number.

Call duration

Duration dialing on the specified phone number. The network preparation time is not taken into duration, so too little time may not provide dialing. The maximum duration is usually limited to the network operator.

LTE connection

Actions with the LTE connection, if it is established:
LTE connection priority, cancel dial-in - if the LTE connection is established, the number will not be dialed (default behavior);
interrupt the connection when dialing - LTE connection will be terminated when dialing and restored after the call ends (not earlier than after a while "Call duration").

Only one "Phone number" can be added for a dial task.

You can create multiple "Dial tasks" elements. In this case, if these elements are triggered, the modem will dial the first "Dial task" and after it finishes the dial, it will start to dial the next "Dial task" element, The modem can not dial two numbers at the same time.

We strongly advise using only 1 Dial task element, because while the Dial is being performed by the modem, the modem is unavailable for other tasks until it finishes the dial.

The 'Test' button allows you to dial the phone number, and make sure that everything works correctly.

To associate the dialing task with an event in the system, use logic schemes or group notifications.
