Sending SMS via another Vutlan device equipped with a GSM modem (SMS Gate)
Introduction
If several Vutlan devices are used in the same network, and at least one of them has an LTE modem, you can send SMS from other Vutlan devices that are not equipped with a modem.
How to create an SMS Gate
To create a notification via SMS Gate you have to specify the following parameters:
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Name | The name of the element in the system |
Phone number | Phone number of the receiver (+421908315000), up to 10 numbers. For multiple phone numbers use "space", ";" or ",". Example 1: +421908315000 +421908315001 +421908315002 Example 2: +421908315000,+421908315001,+421908315002 Example 3: +421908315000;+421908315001;+421908315002 |
Message | Text of the message. May contain macros. IP Address | IP address of Vutlan device with GSM modem |
Attention! The user on the Vutlan device with a GSM modem must have the appropriate rights to read and write: GSM modem and E-mail, SNMP, and SMS.
Attention! It may be convenient to create a user on a Vutlan device with a GSM modem, which only has access to "GSM modem" and "E-mail, SNMP, SMS". In such a way, other information is not shared when creating notifications on other Vutlan monitoring systems without a GSM modem.
