Access to the dashboard via PIN code

To provide quick access to data, the dashboard has a PIN access function. In this case, the user logged in using the PIN code will have access only to the data on the dashboard and only in read mode. The user cannot change the data or the configuration of the system.

To enable PIN access for a user, you must have administrator privileges. Select the Users menu item, select the required user record and open the Dashboard tab there.

In this tab, you can find the following settings:

  • Enable quick access to dashboard - enables quick access by PIN code;

  • Link for quick access to dashboard - a link for use in the browser that provides access to the dashboard, the Copy button appears only if the https mode is enabled;

  • PIN code for access - required PIN code, numbers only, length from 4 to 8 characters.

 

After changing a user's record, you can log in to the user's associated dashboard using the link. You can save the link in your browser for easy access.

The dashboard available in this way has limited user rights: you cannot change the dashboard, you cannot change display parameters (except for the time on the charts), you cannot save changes.
