Function and purpose
The VT12 Switchable relay has two versatile relay outputs (relay switchable contact) designed for controlling various devices and systems. It offers both relay outputs and transistor dry contact input capabilities, allowing it to function effectively in multiple applications.
The VT12 can manage 5A power for magnetic locks, bolt locks, solenoid electromagnets, sirens, light sources, heaters, air conditioners, etc. It has two possibilities: opened 5A relay outputs or powered 12V 0.5A output.
Input can be connected to any unit with transistor dry contacts outputs.
Use cases
These applications demonstrate the versatility of the VT12 in various settings, from security and automation to HVAC and industrial uses.
Access Control Systems: The VT12 can be used to control magnetic locks or electronic strikes, providing secure access to restricted areas. It can trigger the locking mechanism based on input from access control systems.
Alarm Systems: In security applications, the VT12 can activate sirens or notification lights when an alarm is triggered, ensuring prompt alerts in case of unauthorized access or emergencies.

Connecting switchable contact
SA switchablecontact can only be connected to transistor dry contact outputs. The diagram below explains how to connect two VT12 switchable relays to the Vutlan monitoring system.
