VT-ACCU / Rechargeable backup battery
Content
Function and purpose
The VT-ACCU Rechargeable Backup Battery is an extension module designed to ensure the continuous operation of Vutlan monitoring devices during power outages. It charges while the main power source is active and automatically provides backup power if the main input voltage drops. Once power is restored, the batteries begin recharging, ensuring they are always ready for future use.
Compatible with monitoring systems like VT604t, VT608t, VT825t, and VT855t, it provides reliable backup power to maintain system functionality and avoid monitoring interruptions. Ideal for critical IT infrastructure and facility monitoring.
Accumulator batteries are not included. Recommended battery 14500 800 2.5A BUTTON TOPXTAR.
DO NOT USE NON-RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES!
DO NOT USE DEAD OR FULLY DISCHARGED RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES!
ONLY USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES (ACCUMULATORS)!

Power Supply Priorities
VT855t Example
The power supply inputs may differ for each Vutlan system and your ordered options. This example only explains the general working principle.
# | Power supply |
---|---|
1, 2, 3
|
These power supply lines are equivalent. The main Vutlan PCB has 3 power lines. If all three power lines are connected and active simultaneously, the system chooses the input with the biggest Voltage. Normally each of these lines supplies the system with 11V. Power switching is instant. |
4 |
VT-ACCU is charged by the power line 1. The system will start working from VT-ACCU only in case power lines 1,2, and 3 are off (power outage). |
