Function and purpose
The VT-BAT / Reservation Battery 9V is an essential backup solution for maintaining operational integrity in your Vutlan monitoring systems. This extension module ensures that your critical infrastructure remains functional during power outages or interruptions.
Key Features:
Emergency Backup Power: Designed for use in emergencies, the VT-BAT utilizes a non-rechargeable 6F22 9V lithium battery to provide reliable power when the main source is unavailable.
Extended Operation Time: Depending on the usage and load, the Vutlan monitoring system can operate on this battery for approximately 1 to 10 hours, giving you the peace of mind that essential monitoring functions will continue.
Compatibility: The VT-BAT is designed to work with the VT604t, VT825t, and VT855t models, ensuring seamless integration into your existing monitoring setup.
By incorporating the VT-BAT into your system, you can safeguard against potential downtime, making it an indispensable component for businesses that rely on continuous environmental monitoring and control.
A 6F22 9V lithium battery is not included..
You can use 9V battery enclosed in standard PP3 enclosure

Power Supply Priorities
VT855t Example
The power supply inputs may differ for each Vutlan system and your ordered options. This example only explains the general working principle.
# | Power supply |
---|---|
1, 2, 3
|
These power supply lines are equivalent. The main Vutlan PCB has 3 power lines. If all three power lines are connected and active at the same time, the system chooses the input with the biggest Voltage. Normally each of these lines supply the system with 11V. Power switching is instant. |

VT-BAT is connected on a power line 1. Because it has the lowest voltage, the system will start working from VT-BAT only in case power lines 1,2, and 3 are fail (power outage). |
Shipment
Warning! If you install VT-ACCU inside the system with charged batteries and decide to ship it. The system will be operational until the batteries are drained while in transit.
Physical Description
The PCB has no LEDs.
Installation
