Function and purpose
Highly secure, open technology MIFARE DESFire reader in a range of housings and keypads up to moisture, dust, and vandal proof, compatible with other manufacturers' DESFire devices. The reader is used together with VT485r / OSDPv2 reader extension slot

Tolerates moisture and dust. High protection class; IP54 to IP67.
Vandal-proof: Impact resistance from IK-09 to IK-10
Reliable optical tamper reduces false tamper alarms
OSDPV2 version.

Connecting the reader to VT485r (OSDP)
Connect the reader to Vutlan using VT485r / OSDPv2 reader extension slot

| Unscrew the M3 bolt from the reader. |

| User a screwdriver to push out two back panels from the reader. Pull the mount plate marked in orange from the reader. |

| The mount plate (back panel) can be installed on to a wall using dowels and screws. Warning: Range decreases on metal surfaces. |
