Legacy battery replacement

SR44 batteries are required to store the date and current time on the device. Replacement batteries are required when storing the device without power supply for a long period of time, or when using the device after a long period of no use, or when using after the warranty period has expired.

Battery replacement is only possible when the power is turned off on the device!


In order to do this, turn off the device from power, open the enclosure, carefully push aside the old battery and remove it. Check the place of battery installation for the absence of water stains or other damages, insert a new battery, close the unit cover, and connect the power supply. After connecting, synchronize the date and time.

If you cannot use the SR44 battery, it is possible to install LR44 batteries, however, bare in mind that these batteries can have a shorter period of storage and use, and that the alcaline batteries have tendency to leak.
