Connecting alarm beacons

VT8101 has the possibility to connect two alarm lights or sirens managed by built-in relays to the 12V output and to the input Reader / 1Wire. VT800, VT8110 appliances the possibility to connect one light or siren managed by built-in electronic relay to the input Reader / 1Wire.

Connecting alarm beacons to 12V outputs of VT8101 and VT200.

To connect an external load, light or siren, connect the wires from the alarm device to the appropriate clamps of the relay terminal plug. Insert the plug into the relay terminal 12 V. By command, relay will switch on or off the load. The maximum possible output current of the relay - 0.25A.

Check alarms in a test mode. To do this, go to  the system interface, enter the Main Menu -> System Configuration -> Alert. In the resulting window, click the "Impulse". Strobe lights or siren have alarm now. Configure the alarm logic circuits.

Connecting alarm beacons to Reader / 1Wire input of VT800, VT8101 and VT8110.

Sirens, lights can be connected to the port "Reader" using RJ9 (4P4C) connector. Use cables 0.14 mm2.

Check alarms in a test mode. To do this, go to  the system interface, enter the Main Menu -> System Configuration -> Power IButton. Switch it "Off". Configure the alarm logic circuits.

To avoid breakage, do not connect the relay loads when the appliance is turned on.
