Reset settings
To restore settings please go here like a software upgrade.
Reset to default values
The following ways are possible:
1) with a special firmware
This possibility exists in all versions. Factory data reset carried out using special firmware that can be downloaded from the drivers as the Settings Recovery Tools.
Reset features to factory settings:
- full reset;
- network settings reset;
- user password reset;
Reset firmware installed in the same way like usual software upgrade.
2) in a Web interface:
Starting with version 2.5.0 reset is also possible via the web interface. Go to tab "System menu" ->About and push tab "OK" for "Reset settings to default values"
Possible options:
- for sensors - reset sensors (elements) only;
- for all - resets all to factory settings;
3) using a switch "Recovery" on the rear panel.
From version 2.5.1 and higher added the ability to return factory settings using a switch NORMAL / RECOVERY .
To return to factory settings, set the switch NORMAL / RECOVERY in "RECOVERY" position for time of 5 to 30 seconds.
In 5 s after turning this switch to "RECOVERY" position, "ERROR" LED on the front panel lights Up. Now return the switch NORMAL / RECOVERY in "NORMAL" position. System restored the factory settings and then reboot.
If till 30 seconds after the ERROR LED lights up switch was not set to NORMAL, then the system will assume that the switch is set to "RECOVERY" by mistake. In this case, LED starts to flash at a frequency of once per second, recalling this abnormal position of the switch. and even if now the switch is set to "NORMAL", the light goes out, but the restoration of the configuration and reboot does not occur.
If the switch stay in "RECOVERY" less than 5 seconds (before LED lights up), the settings reset and restart will not be made.
