To poll the sensors via SNMP, go to Configuration → Hosts and create the Item for the desired host.

Specify settings of the created Item:

  • Name - any users text label;
  • Type, according to the SNMP settings;
  • Key - a unique value that uniquely identifies the created Item in the system;
  • Interface - host address;
  • SNMP OID Object ID, more in SNMP manual ;
  • SNMP access settings, depending on the SNMP protocol (in this case, community);
  • Type: Numeric is selected for sensor readings (float or unsigned depending on the type of sensor), for states - type Text, etc .;

Then turn to the sensor and go to Monitoring → Latest Data

If the Item of the sensor is not detected, use key filter.

For the detected Item (in this case Temperature), you can see the graph history of the changes (Graph link in the Info field), or the history of the state change if the type of information Text was selected.
