Function and purpose
The sensor is needed for the measurement of relative humidity of 10-95% indoors with a relative accuracy of 3%.The maximum amount of sensors and maximum length VT510 / Relative Humidity Sensor is designed for precise measuring indoor relative humidity levels ranging from 10% to 95%. It’s an analog plug-and-play sensor that seamlessly integrates with Vutlan monitoring units.
This sensor can be connected to any analog port (A1...A8) of the Vutlan monitoring system, providing real-time humidity data. The maximum number of sensors and the distance from the monitoring unit can be extended using the "VT408 / Sensor extension unit", offering greater flexibility for larger installations.
Use cases
These examples show the sensor’s versatility in various fields where monitoring and maintaining optimal humidity is crucial.
Data Centers and Server Rooms: Used to monitor humidity levels, preventing moisture buildup that could damage sensitive electronic equipment and lead to downtime or hardware failure.
Industrial Automation: Helps maintain optimal environmental conditions in factories, warehouses, and production facilities where humidity control is critical for processes, equipment longevity, or product quality.
Clean Rooms: In pharmaceutical or electronics manufacturing, maintaining precise humidity levels is essential to avoid contamination or static electricity that could impact product quality.
HVAC Systems: Provides real-time data for climate control systems, enabling efficient regulation of humidity in buildings and ensuring a comfortable indoor environment.
Laboratories: Ensures that controlled environments like research labs maintain proper humidity levels for experiments, equipment, and sample storage.
Greenhouses and Indoor Farming: Vital for controlling the humidity necessary for plant growth and preventing mold or fungal growth.

Installation using a sticker and a bracket
Option 1.
There's a round bump at the bottom of the plastic enclosure of the sensor. It is used for fastening when the sensor is mounted on walls using a screw. In the current example, it is not needed. If you are planning to mount a device differently, do not follow this step.
...
Mount the sensor to the surface using a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket and the sensor can be either attached by the stickers or together with screws and nuts.
