Power Supply Priorities

...

Power supply line

Description

1

  1. 110-240V AC

This is the main power supply line. The system chooses the power supply input with the biggest Voltage. That is why this power line always has the highest priority.

2

  1. 12V DC

This power line has the second priority and will start working only if there’s a power outage on power line 1.

Normally each of these lines supply the system with 11V. Power switching is instant.

3

  1. 9V DC

This power line has the lowest priority because it has the lowest voltage.

VT-ACCU or VT-BAT can be connected on this power line.

VT-ACCU is charged by the power line 1. The system will start working from VT-ACCU only in case power lines 1 and 2 fail (power outage).

VT-BAT battery is not charged. Once it is depleted, the battery has to be manually changed.
