Superior precision in mass concentration and number concentration sensing
VT580 dust particle sensor is used to monitor air quality and pollution. The sensor is a technological breakthrough in particle matter sensors. Its measurement principle is based on laser scattering and based on innovative contamination-resistance technology. The probe enables precise measurements from its first operation and throughout its lifetime of more than ten years. VT580 has superior precision for different particle matter (PM) types and higher-resolution particle size binning, opening up new possibilities for detecting different sorts of environmental dust and other particles.
It can be connected to any analog port (A1...A8) of the Vutlan monitoring unit. The sensor is plug-and-play and can be configured for event triggering using logic schemes.
The maximum amount of sensors connected to the Vutlan monitoring unit and maximum length can be extended using the "VT408 / Sensor extension unit" or “VT408DIN / Extension unit”.
Connecting the sensor
The sensor can be connected to the system's available analog ports. See the picture below.
