Physical description VT407 / AC current converter
Function
Simple The HAT-100Q1 is a simple open-loop AC current transducer HAT-100Q1 can measure that measures AC currents in the range of 0-100A. Data can be transferred to the monitoring system using AC converter VT407.
HAT-100Q1 and VT407 and purchased separately.
VT407 AC converter It is designed for monitoring and controlling power consumption and is ideal for applications where precise AC current measurements are critical. The transducer detects the current and outputs an analog signal that can be processed by a monitoring system.
To transfer the measured AC current data, the VT407 AC converter is used. It is an analog plug-and-play device. Can be connected that connects to any available analog port (A1...A8) on a Vutlan monitoring unit. This allows for seamless integration of current monitoring into the broader Vutlan monitoring unit. The maximum amount of connected VT407 converters system, providing real-time data on current consumption and enabling the system to react to overcurrent situations or electrical failures.
Additionally, the maximum number of VT407 converters connected to the system and the maximum length from the monitoring unit can be extended expanded using the VT408 / Sensor extension unit, offering scalability for larger monitoring setups or more complex infrastructures.
This combination is ideal for monitoring power usage in data centers, industrial environments, or telecommunications facilities, where reliable power monitoring is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and safety.

Installation procedure
Notes on assembly
Be careful, the transducer's maximum isolation voltage is 2kV.
The transducer can measure AC current on any current wire, not more than 10 mm in diameter. Just open the cover, insert the wire, and close it.
Max. distance for the current converter from the monitoring unit is 50 meters.
Installation
The transducer and the converter are installed together.
Mount HAT-100Q1 transducer using M4 screws and M4 nuts. The distance between mounting holes is 50 mm.
Mount VT407 current transceiver using M4 screws and M4 nuts or double-sided stickers. The distance between mounting holes is 60 mm.
Connect both HAT-100Q1 and VT407 using a cable. The cable is included in the package of VT407. The cable has x4 conductors and x2 power connectors (4P 5.08mm and 4P 3.81mm) at each end.

Connection
Connect the converter to the monitoring unit by RJ11 cable, connect the 12V power adapter connected to 230V, and connect a flat cable with green connectors to the transducer.
Two green LEDs will be lit on a sensor. The monitoring system will automatically sense the current converter as a sensor.
...
Change the type of the sensor by choosing "Current". Choosing any type of sensor does not affect sensor properties, it only changes the sensor icon for the comfort of usage.
Change the name of the sensor, for example, "AC current".
How to use an "Expression formula": 20 * (x-B). "B" indicates the voltage at the output of the current transducer at zero current.
To measure "B", measure the readings of the monitoring system at zero current in the transducer. Typically B is about 0.017 - 0.021.
Then you can write the formula "20*(x-B)". Push OK.
Now the system is ready to measure the current in the transducer core.
Finally put in the threshold levels by dragging: Low alarm, Low warning, High warning, High alarm levels.
For example, the graph above shows that the state of the sensor at the moment is "Normal" because 20.4 is between "Low warning" and "High warning" states, which is considered a "normal" state.Click “Save” on a diskette at the bottom right of the “Properties” window. The page will reload and the sensor will update by changing its icon type to
(abbreviation from "Ampers").
