Function and purpose
The sensor is needed for the measurement of the temperature outdoors.
"VT501 / Temperature sensor" is an analog plug&This analog plug-and-play temperature sensor is designed for outdoor and indoor use. Can measuring temperatures in outdoor or cold environments. It can be connected to any of the analog ports port (A1...A8) of a Vutlan monitoring systemsmonitoring unit for seamless integration. Its reliable performance makes it ideal for monitoring outdoor conditions or maintaining temperature-sensitive areas such as cold storage rooms. With automatic detection and simple installation, the sensor provides accurate temperature readings and immediate alerts for better environmental control.
The maximum amount of sensors and maximum length can be extended using the "VT408 / Sensor extension unit".

The sensor can not be used on its own. It must be used together with Vutlan monitoring systems. |
Use cases
These use cases demonstrate the VT501 sensor's flexibility in applications that require accurate and consistent temperature monitoring.
Server Rooms and Data Centers: Essential for monitoring and maintaining optimal temperature conditions to prevent overheating of critical IT equipment.
Industrial Equipment Monitoring: Used to track the temperature of machines and processes in manufacturing environments, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
HVAC Systems: Helps regulate the temperature in climate control systems for buildings, ensuring efficient cooling and heating.
Cold Storage and Warehouses: Vital for monitoring temperature levels in storage areas for sensitive goods like food, pharmaceuticals, or other temperature-sensitive products.
Laboratories: Useful for monitoring environmental conditions to ensure that experiments, materials, and sensitive equipment are stored and operated at appropriate temperatures.
Indoor Environmental Monitoring: Can be used in offices or homes to track and maintain comfortable temperature levels and ensure energy efficiency.

Installation using a sticker and a bracket
Option 1.
There's a round bump at the bottom of the plastic enclosure of the sensor. It is used for fastening when the sensor is mounted together with the on walls using a screw. In the current example, it is not needed. If you are planning to mount a device differently, do not follow this step.
Cut the round bump using a knife so that the bottom of the plastic enclosure will be flat.
Option 2.
a) Stick the mounting sensor to the surface using the sticker.
or
b) Stick a sensor to the surface using a screw.
Option 3.
Mount the sensor to the surface using a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket and the sensor can be either attached by the stickers or together with screws and nuts.
