"VT107 / RFID reader" can be used for access control. It operates on a principle of contactless reading data from "VT108 / RFID cards". Each card (transponder) has a unique 40-bit identification number stored permanently (the
number is unique to each card/transponder). The reader sends this number using a 1-wire bus in a format compatible with Vutlan monitoring systems.
Can be used together with all Vutlan monitoring units.
Requires "VT10 / 1-Wire extension" for VT325, VT335, VT335 DC, VT335 S, VT805, VT825, VT825 DC in order to be installed. Only one reader two readers can be connected to one monitoring system. If two readers are installed, they operate as one device.
"VT108 / RFID cards" are purchased separately.

Installation
Step 1.
Install and configure "VT10 / 1-Wire extension" inside the monitoring unit and inside the web interface.
Step 2.
- Drill holes on the mounting surface (e.g. wall). Holes for plastic dowels and for the RJ9 cable to go through.
- Insert plastic dowels into drilled holes of on the surface.
- Carry RJ9 cable through the drilled hole.
Connected RJ9(4P4C) cable to "VT10 / 1-Wire extension" on the monitoring system. The reader is determined automatically. Once the reader is connected, You should hear a "Beep!" sound.
- Place a sticker on the RFID reader.
