Function and purpose
Ensure stable power conditions with the VT520 AC Voltage Monitor. Designed for real-time monitoring of AC voltage levels, it helps protect critical infrastructure by detecting fluctuations and power anomalies. Easily integrated with Vutlan’s monitoring systems for instant alerts and automatic actions.
The sensor measures AC voltage 0-246V. Interchangeable plug types for Europe, the US, China, Australia, and South Africa for power sockets or power strips with IEC C14 outlets.
Can be connected to any analog port (A1...A8) of the Vutlan monitoring unit. The sensor is plug-and-play.
The maximum amount of sensors connected to a single Vutlan monitoring unit and the maximum length from the unit can be extended using the VT408 / Sensor extension unit.
Use cases
These use cases show how the VT520 helps monitor AC voltage to ensure the stability and safety of equipment in various sectors.
Data Center Power Monitoring: Measure and monitor the AC voltage supplied to server racks and other critical equipment in data centers, ensuring reliable power delivery and preventing equipment damage due to power fluctuations.
Telecom Stations: Use the sensor to monitor AC power supply in telecom base stations, ensuring consistent power and preventing network disruptions caused by power issues.
Industrial Power Systems: Monitor the voltage in industrial automation systems, where a stable AC power supply is essential for the correct operation of machinery and control systems.
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Systems: Integrate the sensor with UPS systems to track and report on incoming voltage, helping prevent equipment failure due to under or over-voltage conditions.
Electrical Panel Monitoring: Install electrical distribution panels to measure and monitor the voltage supply to critical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
Building Management Systems (BMS): Incorporate the VT520 sensor into a BMS to monitor the AC voltage supplied to various systems across a facility, helping detect and address power issues before they escalate.
