Function & Description
The "VT405 Current converter" transmits measured current data from the Hall meters to the Vutlan monitoring device.
This plug-and-play transceiver easily connects to any analog port of Vutlan monitoring devices.
Works with Hall-effect transducers with 0–5 V output, 12V power input.
Models / Order options
The VT405 is ordered to match the output signal range of your Hall-effect current transducer. Choose the model that corresponds to the transducer's output voltage:
VT405 AC: for AC Hall transducers
VT405 DC: for DC Hall transducers
The VT405 cannot be used on its own. It must be used together with a Hall-effect current transducer and a Vutlan monitoring system.

Installation procedure
Safety instructions
Please observe the applicable regulations for installation in the country where the current transducer is installed and operated, as well as the national regulations for accident prevention. Please also observe any internal company regulations, such as work, operating, and safety regulations.
The technical specifications and limit values stated must not be exceeded under any circumstances. In particular, this applies to the specified ambient temperature range and IP protection category.
Siting location requirements
To ensure proper functionality, the conditions specified in the section “Technical specifications” must be observed.
Notes on assembly
Be careful, check the transducer's maximum isolation voltage.
The transducers can measure AC or DC current on any current wire. Check maximum allowed wire diameter.
Check maximum distance for the current converter from the monitoring unit.
Installation
The transducer and the converter are installed together.
1. Mount the transducer using screws and nuts. Put the wire to be measured through the apperture hole of the transducer.
2. Connect one end of the RJ11 cable to any analog port (A1–A8) of the Vutlan monitoring unit and the other end to the RJ11 port of VT405 Current Converter.
3. Connect 3-wires to the Hall-effect current transducer as shown on the picture.
