Zabbix allows you to track on the map:
Host states;
Group state;
Trigger states;
Embedded maps;
Loading of the background image of the map and the necessary pictograms is done through Administration → General, Images (in the right corner).
Specify the type of content to download.
After downloading the required content, you can start creating the map via Monitoring-> Maps
To edit the map, you need to enter the map designer, add an icon, and edit the properties of the icon.
For example, if you specify the Host type, the icon will display the status of the corresponding host.
It is convenient to add custom links here for the context menu of the icon.
For example, add icons for two hosts and denote the relationship between them:
If an incident occurs on the host, the host will be identified by the corresponding incident color:
For quick navigation, you can use the context menu (the mouse button on the left mouse button)
To add a trigger to the map, set the trigger type for the newly added icon and select the desired trigger from the list.
The trigger is displayed on the map as a specified icon with the selected name and current state.
When an incident occurs, the status of the icon changes, a detailed description of the problem can be obtained from the context menu.
Zabbix provides the creation of child maps or hierarchical structures of maps.
To create a child map, specify the type Map for the newly added icon and select the child map in the list:
Now the transition to the child map from the parent map is possible through the context menu:
