The additional power supply is needed only if the number of sensors in a CAN bus chain is more than 12 sensors. Supplies CAN-12V-1A supplies power for each additional group of 12 CAN devices (sensors and extensions).
CAN devices and sensors can be chained together. Up to 10-32 CAN devices can be connected in a chain. You can connect CAN sensors or extensions on a CAN bus line.
