It is possible to connect up to two readers to one Vutlan monitoring system. Please use a splitter to do this. In such a case both readers are seen by the system as one reader. This is useful when one reader is used for entrance and one reader for the exit of the same door. |
"VT107 / RFID reader" can be used for access control. It operates on a principle of contactless reading data from "VT108 / RFID cards". Each card (transponder) has a unique 40-bit identification number stored permanently (the
number is unique to each card/transponder). The reader sends this number using 1-wire bus in a format compatible with Vutlan monitoring systems.
Can be used together with all Vutlan monitoring units.
Requires "VT10 / 1-Wire extension" for VT325, VT335, VT335 DC, VT335 S, VT805, VT825, VT825 DC in order to be installed. Only one reader can be connected to one monitoring system.
"VT108 / RFID cards" are purchased separately.
