Function and purpose
At installation on doors, windows, etc., the sensor controls the status of the door, window: opened, closed. The sensor The VT530 Access Sensor is essential for access control and is designed to monitor the status of doors and windows (open or closed). It consists of two parts: a magnet and a sensor, ensuring accurate detection of access points being opened or closed. It can be connected to any analog port (A1..Chain connection is possible. .A8) of the Vutlan monitoring unit and supports daisy chaining, allowing multiple sensors to be linked in a series for easy and scalable installations.
For larger systems, the number of sensors and overall cable length can be extended using the VT408 Sensor Extension Unit, allowing for scalable access control across multiple entry points.
This sensor is ideal for securing sensitive areas and ensuring continuous monitoring of entry status.

Installation
Example 1
The magnet needs to be mounted on the door or the window. If the door is open, the switch is Open. If the door is closed, the switch is Closed. You can reverse the logic inside the Web UI interface.
Depending on the construction of the door/window/rack you can use supplied bolts, stickers, or a mounting bracket to mount the sensor and the magnet.
